Clear cache and cookies in Google Chrome

To clear cache and cookies in Google Chrome: open Delete browsing data (Ctrl+Shift+Delete / Cmd+Shift+Delete), choose Cached images and files (and Cookies if needed), then Delete data. Stale Chrome cache often keeps an offline error or old login page even when the site is online for everyone else.

Steps to clear cache and cookies in Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome. Click the three-dot menu → Delete browsing data (or press Ctrl+Shift+Delete on Windows/Linux, Cmd+Shift+Delete on Mac).
  2. Set Time range to All time (or Last 24 hours for a lighter reset).
  3. Check Cached images and files. Optionally check Cookies and other site data if logins may be corrupt.
  4. Click Delete data.
  5. Visit the site again, or open it in an Incognito window to test without extensions.

Hard refresh in Google Chrome (without clearing everything)

On the stuck page press Ctrl+F5 (Windows/Linux) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to bypass cache for that tab only. If the page is still broken after a hard refresh, clear cache and cookies using the steps above.
